Annual General Meeting

Held at the Brighton & hove Golf Club on Thursday 5th March 2026 

On a warm and sunny day, 60 members attended the Annual General Meeting at Brighton & Hove Golf Club.

This was the first occasion that we have had an event at this venue and thanks go to Graham Clark, a member of the golf club, for recommending what turned out to be the ideal venue, both for the meeting and the lunch that followed.

The food and the service were both first class and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Briefly, the present committee, with the exception of Jean Clarke and Robin Frost, both of whom had decided to stand down, were re-elected en-bloc and Pam Groves was elected on to the committee after a unanimous show of hands.

After the main meeting, our Chairman presented Robin with a personalised copy of 'The Football History of Brighton & Hove Albion' that had the inscription:  'Presented on the occasion of your retirement from the Committee of the Brighton Spread Eagles Pensioners Club after over 30 years of valuable service. Your involvement and enthusiasm have been very much appreciated.'

Robin received a well deserved round of applause from the members.
