ramble around berwick & Alciston

Friday 12th June 2026

We originally had 27 for the Ramble, but having to change the date resulted in just 14 able to join in due to a myriad of good reasons.

Those that attended enjoyed a good Ramble along the country paths between Alciston and Berwick despite a strong wind and overcast skies , but thankfully no rain, This was followed up by a excellent meal at the Cricketers Arms who looked after us very well.
 

Unfortunately there was nobody on hand to take any photos, so I have just added the above cartoon to show what it could have looked like!!!

Graham intends to have a third try at getting the Barcombe Mills ramble up and running despite previously being thwarted by the weather.
